I spent nine years at Aston Martin so you’ll have to forgive me – I may mention it. It’s hard not to when the brand is so interminably cool.

I joined in 2013 as a Digital Marketing Exec, responsible for executing the full mix of social media, websites and many other digital projects in between. It’s not for me to divulge all of the detail but we had some great success building the social channels in those early days, skyrocketing total followers from 2 million to 10 million+ in just a couple of years.

Later on I handed over the social media and repositioned as Global Digital Lead which allowed me to fully focus on developing the digital ecosystem – specifically the Aston Martin website and its supporting cast of platforms. I led site builds, redesigns, CMS migrations, product and campaign launches, all while working with some of the finest agencies in the game.

Tempting as it was to stay on for the full ten years and earn my testimonial match, I rode off into the sunset in 2022 for some well earned “me” time.

Working at Aston was a career privilege, placing me at the coalface of global digital campaigns and inexplicably large audiences – experiences that continue to influence and inform my freelance work to this day.
